On the beautiful banks of the Rhone and its Iones, with an exceptional archaeological heritage, the picturesque village of Soyons offers to the visitors a real journey in the time. In the historic heart of the village, a museum retraces the local life of Prehistory in the Middle Ages through the presentation of objects discovered during excavations in Soyons and its surroundings. Located 15 minutes walk from the hotel, the prehistoric caves of Nero and the Trou du Renard are to be visited. Not far from its rocky promontory at an altitude of 250 m, the 12th century Leaning Tower offers a magnificent view of the Rhone Valley and the Vercors Massif.

It is in Soyons that you will also find the amusement park of the Garden of the Ardéchois reduced scale models which reproduce the remarkable sites of the Ardèche over 2800 m² from the Mount Gerbier de Jonc to the Pont d’Arc ...

Our region is also a paradise for nature lovers. Many hiking trails exist from the village and the greenway, the ViaRhôna (cycle route) which crosses 13 departments from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean over700 km (90 in the Ardèche) is very close nearby.
